The Paper Gown
YES All Paper!

wow, I'm thrilled it got on DD's
even if it's not the best photo of the dress :)

I'm glad You all like it ^-^

as for some answers:
*YES, IT's ALL Paper- every part of the dress-the strings are paper too,
*YES, IT's wearable, I had to pin it down so it wont move or get damaged on the mannequin,
*YES, I plan to make a real dress [in the future]
*NO, I never went to a Fashion School, pity

*AS for requests if anyone could make that in to a real dress,
****I HOPE NO ONE STEALS MY DESIGN****
your free to make a dress inspired with mine,
I get my inspirations from other artists but Never copy,
Seriously PLEASE don't steal my Design
***********************
in detal of the Project:

The Collar:
the Rose took only 5 min to make, and 1 hour to dry
the paper strings took 3 days-to hand roll in swirl and than to glue-in together, bout 16 meters of paper string just on the collar;

The Under Dress:
took 1 day to pin up and glue-sculp, and whole 2 days to dry up stiff, 3m of carbed-tule paper ussed;

The Corset:
took 2 tries with mesouring up, 30min to glue up all the lace and left for the night to dry, then half and hour to lace up with the paper strings and position in place;

Skirt:
took 3 days to prepair, cut and pin-glue on the base belt;

whole dress was put together in few days - the drying of the glue was taking the most of time - I recomend a dry and well vented room

hehe, thnx
I had hundreds of designs,
in all kinds of fashion styles :P

but the teachers had to cross out what they didn't like
and in the end, this design is what we all agreed up upon,

that's why some times school projects are actually being hatted by their creators-the students

well I dunno, I suggested this for my final degree project- so nobody else made anything close to this except me
:)

I heard bout a fashion school that had their students to make clothing made of paper,
but not to that of a scale, mine is made entirely of paper [no wires, no plastic]\
we have design so it included costume, so there it went and out grew to become a real paper dress hehe
