Lydia from the animated version of Beetlejuice was to me more realistic as a teenager, in the movie we had a glimpse, but she did seem more closer to adulthood, while in the cartoon we see her interact as a teen. Plus she is more fun and animated with the style of the cartoon show, it was more easy to connect with her in the cartoon form than the life version. The cartoon was a different story altogether from the movie, and we loved it.

Lydia is a horror loving teen with a few secrets, she is smart and creative, talented and artsy, she teaches kids that being different is not a bad thing, and never to judge anyone by appearance.
